Traces - -

CERAMICS vases and candelholders Work & Style: Sophie Dries invented the Traces collection which is a collaboration with ceramicist Thomas Vivant and metal artist Michael Moore. The title alludes to both the scoring process for making ceramics and historical reference points that range from primitive stoneware to the 80's Memphis movement, namely Ettore Sottsass. The stylistic contrast is complemented by a strong sense of materiality and the dialogue between metal and ceramic. Each vessel is produced by hand in an edition of eight pieces.
