DCW Chairs by Charles & Ray Eames for Herman Miller, 1950s, Set of 2
A pair of mid-century DCW chairs (DCW = dining chair wood) in ash veneer.
Produced by Herman Miller circa 1950 shortly after taking over the production from Evans Products Company.
These chairs retain the 5-2-5 screw arrangement beneath. This was changed by Herman Miller after one year to 4-2-5 screws. So this pair of DCWs can be dated quite precisely.
Completely original state & finish.
Both retain their original label.
