Dutch Teak Boomerang Desk by Louis Van Teeffelen for Wébé, 1950s
Beautiful large management design desk executed in solid teak, teak veneer, rosewood and brass with three drawers at the front, a valve cabinet and extendable shelf. At the back a large book compartment so that the desk can also be placed nicely in the room. With its slightly curved shape the XL-desk has the name "Boomerang" and was designed in the late 1950s by the Dutchman Louis van Teeffelen (1921-1972) for Webe. Beautiful details executed in dark wood (rosewood), such as a border on a writing surface and handles. Condition: very good vintage condition. Very small damage on both sides of the drawer unit and the valve cabinet due to the office chair. The writing top has some color difference and a few spots, but no damage.
