Dutch oak design desk by Cees Braakman for UMS Pastoe, 1950s
Beautiful oak veneer writing desk with two curved plywood legs and under the chest of drawers with the anti-dust drawers four wedge-shaped legs. The design of this vintage desk, type EE02 from the oak series is from Cees Braakman for UMS Pastoe Utrecht, 1952. Dutch design.
Condition: good vintage condition. The oak veneer has a beautiful drawing with some slight traces of use on the writing surface, including a few dark stripes. Drawers are neat with a small chip in the veneer at the bottom edge of the bottom drawer. The plywood legs both have a small repair on the underside (veneer was gone here).
