French Reconstruction Period Attributed Pierre Cruege Oak Wood Desk
Midcentury French writing desk dating from the "reconstruction period" (shortly after WW2) - very early 1950s. The design is very close to works of Pierre Cruège and it's free standing bookshelves (often sold as René Gabriel) - we attribute this desk to Pierre Cruege but this model is rare and we have not found so far pictures of it. Massive oak wood structure matched with black painted metal elements.
