The idea of the folding away wall bed is far from new, it was already very successful in the Fifties. But these contemporary solutions proposed by bonbon, with the Clei collection, should interest all those who live in a small space, that is to say most people who live in the largest cities of the world where the price of the square meter is almost invaluable.

These beds exist in many different sizes and finishes and can be integrated or fronted with sofas or desks when they are folded up.

Folding away beds are nice, but not for small spaces and should never be fronted with anything, because it's uncomfortable to have a desk in a position and have to move it away at night. The purpose of a wall bed is just to protect the bedding from dust when you’re on holiday, or from pets so that you don’t have to close the bedroom’s door if you have them. A human being needs a lot of space and at least three rooms in addition to the bathroom and the kitchen: one dining room, one bedroom, and one study room.
I like the beds in the picture on top, and I think they should be used in a large room, with nothing near them including when they’re closed, just like in the picture.
Definitely a misunderstanding there as wall beds are in fact for very large spaces.
