Considering that this seems to be the place to admit morally doubtful behavior I willing to accept your jugement on my best find ever. Picking up a collegue in the morning I recognized a Teak A.J. chair (not unlike the "ant" but with teak laminated legs and more angular in the back rest) amoung the garbage of my collegue's neighbour. I picked it out of the garbage and puty it in my trunk. Later that night at the modelworkshop that is part of the office I started to draw some different curves to see if I could improuve some of the detailing of the chair. Finally I put the backrest on the bandsaw and cut the new shape. It is still sitting there because I did not have the time it sand and refinish it, so, I am still not completely sure that it is better than the original but I guess that what preceeds amounts to a morally doubtfull act....than again, I am not a collector, I am a designer...by the way if I found a Barcelona, I would try to straighten out just sio slightly, the curve of the front "legs". I suspect that it would look even better.
