Thanks Marvin, I have and MA in fine arts. The desk and most of Jason Lees designs are very derivative of the pre WWll modernist aesthetic as espoused by designers like Gilbret Rohde and Russell Wright. Rohde did exactly these legs (but not in zebrawood) and several of Lees pieces are clearly immitating Rohdes designs for Herman Miller in the 30's.
