AS we are all aware there are 100's of different style Howard miller clocks from 1955 to 1975 out there any one have any idea if Howard miller was precluded from producing any clocks with the nelson hands other than the clocks that came out of the nelson design office??? I can not believe that clock that Barry posted from ebay would be a Nelson original (just seems like not his style) with the pendelom and the wood. Of course I am only speculating and have no direct information but something must have happened between the Nelson office and Howard Miller for all those great designs just to be come extinct, Now i do know that Howard miller did retain some rights to the ball clock and astrick as they not only reproduced them starting in 2002 they also made them in 1983 with the current quartz movement but that was short lived, according to company sources that i have talked to, so if you see any other nelson quartz clocks with the Howard miller sticker on them they were from the short lived period of the 80's
