The round chronopak desk clock may be the second most common Howard Miller/Nelson clock out there (after the ball clock and I guess maybe the spike clock). There are also surprising varations on it over time, including slight changes to the face and those that are battery powered. I also think some may have been manufactured in Germany, but I'm not sure about that. Any information others might have on that subject would be appreciated. The brass asterisk clock is also a nice one, but the one on ebay looks too perfect not to be at least refinished. I prefer to let the brass on my clocks tarnish a bit. For instance, the old turbine clocks look much more industrial (and in my opinion coooler) than the newly made Vitra ones. Barry, that was a very good letter to Schiffer, and I hope the project gets off the ground. I'll be in touch. After attending to my day job out of town the past week, I'll also try to upload a few pictures of my clocks to the website shortly. However, is there some way to do it without posting to the web? I have several pics, but it seems the only way to post a picture is to link to it.
