that I'm going to buy the multi colored version. Sure, it's $1251.00, but it's far cheaper than either the Lost City Arts knockoff and thousands less than a real vintage Arteluce model. Besides, if I did find a real one, I'd have to get it delivered (could be difficult) and probably rewired. I'm going to reply on Sonneman's reputation for quality and assume it's the real deal. I DO know that it weights 51 lbs, so it's not a flimsy Chinese piece of doggy doo doo. By the way, did you know that the Arteluce lamp was not imported into the US? It was actually made in the US and sold by Raymor. Crikey, I'd sure like to know more about the Raymor Corporation. Not only did they import all those neat Bitossi ceramics, but lots of other ceramics from Italy, not to mention the Arthur Umanoff furniture.
