	title of this thread your message I have had a lot of Goodform/General Fireproofing chairs (including a rare recliner). I believe they are essentially the same thing as the Emeco chairs. I really, really like them. They're comfortable, lightweight, and best of all--they do NOT come apart a the joints the way a conventional wood chair can. The vintage Goodform chairs show up often at government surplus auctions, I've heard. I got mine at local estate sales but that can take forever if you want a set of six or eight. What I like about the Goodform chairs is that they have upholstered seats and backs.
