Be careful about those rope-edge chairs, they're rare and precious. Clean them carefully. Resurfacing can be done with penetrol or yacht-supply wax-sealer. a semi-glossy clear paint-job is another option. if you're uncertain give them to a restorer! You might also search the forum, ithink there are posts about eames fibreglass restoration.
