I was considering the Eames desk, but if I bought it, I would've had to install a pull out keyboard drawer (I have a desktop), and I wasn't sure I wanted to do a number on something as valuable as a new EDU desk. So I opted for the (now discontinued) Blue Dot Paperclip desk. I works out well, but it's not quite the level of style I had wanted, but it does have a pull out keyboard drawer and works well with my Aeron chair (I keep the chair in the highest position....) If you don't mind screwing-in a pullout keyboard drawer for your EDU, I say go for it. It will look beautiful in your home. Also, take a look at the other Herman Miller Lifestyles pieces that they're pushing, although I don't like much of it myself.
