Seriously considered it a few years back. It's fine for typing on top of (as opposed to a pull out keyboard) altho I'm sure other would argue that it's not ergonomically correct. If you really want the keyboard tray I don't think a couple of screw holes would do much damage to the desk. Just make sure you don't pop out the top! The only reason I didnt get it was monetary. Instead I found a Offi Wave desk on Craigslist for $100. (pretty, but wobbly as hell) Oh, and definitely get it in primary colors. The ESUs just look so sad and bland in the neutral color schemes.
