I have lost out on things but for the life of me I can't remember much about about what they were. My scores far outnumber them and THOSE I remember! Tulipman, dealers make a living selling stuff. It's nice when you snare an item before they do, but do remember that very few dealers get rich doing what they do. And many collectors prefer to buy from a dealer than to wait for the right piece to show up as a sleeper in the thrift shop or wherever.
