Hi, A few months ago, I got a Broyhill Brasilia china cabinet in pretty good condition. The only problem with it is that the inside of the top piece smells bad. It's OK when it's shut, but it kinds of knocks me back when I open it. It seems like the wood or wood composite on the inside is coated with plastic, and I'm wondering if the plastic is breaking down and putting off an odor. I just bought a smaller Brasilia cabinet, and I don't notice the smell in it. The smaller one has had a lot more use, so maybe it aired out. Any thoughts on this or suggestions on how to get rid of the smell? It can't be a healthy type of odor. Thanks.
