I'm open to any suggestions... I live in a bungalow that's furnished with arts & crafts, asian and modern. The perfect magazine would cover architecture, gardens and decor and would include stories that encompassed more than one room, often enhanced with the house plan. (I know sounds Architectural Digest which I already get but are there similar magazines? Maybe some that are even more architecture based? There's something about seeing the plan of the house that really ties it all together for me) Any ideas? My Met Home subscription was moved to Woman's Day! Not a publication I'd ever pick for myself. You'd think Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S would switch subscribers to Elle Decor at least then they'd have a chance at retaining them. (I even asked if I could be moved only to be told no and then given the number to request a refund - It's Woman's Day or the highway for me). I will say Conde Nast does a much better job of retaining customers when they close magazines. When Domino went under, I was moved to Cookie which was not my thing. They happily switched me over to Architectural Digest when I asked. Gotta say, it was a good move on their part. I wasn't planning on keeping Domino but I'll continue to subscribe to AD.
