Brass Brno by Knoll
I just acquired what appears to be brass version of the brno chair, with a knoll sticker on the bottom of the seat. I have been doing extensive research online, but I can't find any good information about a brno chair made of brass... Everything just turns up this one particular seller on eBay, but it's not particularly informative.

Does anyone know anything about the history or value of a brass brno chair?

Sorry for the terrible photo; it's from the craigslist posting.

Thank you
Thank you, I can't believe I hadn't thought of that! I've been trying to use their online "contact us" form, but unfortunately it's been down since last night. Hopefully I can figure this out soon. Thanks!

From Knoll:
Received this response, and wanted to post it for anyone searching the forum with a similar question:

Thank you for visiting knoll.com.

We appreciate your interest in Brno.

Yes, we did make some brass Brno chairs in the 1980's as specials. We did
not keep very good records of our special during that time so there is no
paperwork I can forward to you.

The Knoll commitment to innovation and modern design has resulted in a
comprehensive portfolio of office systems, seating, files and storage,
tables, desks, textiles and accessories.

We look forward to your returning to knoll.com, where searching for
workplace furnishings is easy and inspiring.

good for you
brynned,

I am pleased that you received a positive reply from Knoll. Congratulations on the fine chair. I use four of the stainless steel and leather versions in my dining room.
