Jens Risom Chairs From Masters Championship
Hi all. I bought these chairs a while back. The girl I bought them from said her grandfather bought them from a Masters golf tournament years ago. For those of you who aren't fimalliar with the Masters, it's a golf tournament where the champion is awarded a green jacket to wear.

While I love golf, I was thinking of reupholstering the fabric. Would this be foolish? Has anyone ever seen Jens Risom sold at a golf tournament?

Thank you for any advice.

It looks fine.
Personally I would not mess with it.

Its more likely that these...
Its more likely that these were used at the tournament and then later sold as opposed to being sold at the tournament (unless I misunderstood you).

If you ever plan on reselling them, I would definitely keep the original 'masters' green upholstery. These might be interesting for a golf/sports collector.

I think that the seller was confused.
I've attended many a Master's Tournament over the years, and have never seen anything except a poly-blend sport coat "color-coated" in the traditional "Master's" green for the event. Perhaps excluding any tacky table decor, etc But I'm usually quite toasted whist sitting in the vip section, and I could be confused.... Nice chair, however.

just saying....

ps again...what a nice chair.

I guess I'll keep them as is. I gave the wood a nice coat of wax and there looking pretty sharp.
