Is this B&B mesh chair by Antonio Citterio? -fixed thread
Purchased in 1999. I've heard it was a one year run of these in grey and white only

I'm 99% sure that it is. There's a couple of photos of an almost identical chair on p. 36 and 37 of the 1999 International Design Yearbook (let me know if you'd like a scan), by B&B and credited to Citterio. The one in the book has a slightly different underframe configuration, and also looks like it might be a slightly different size- I don't know whether they made a few different sizes or whether the one in the book is a prototype.. But in all other respects it's identical (feet, general proportions etc.), and so if yours has a B&B label, you can be pretty sure it's by Citterio.

Thank you
I would really like scans of the yearbook pages and the cover if you could. I have never found any media on this chair until now.

I purchased it new at Smink in Dallas - the B&B rep here as a B&B chair...The owner still has a couple- but she could find no more info on it even herself or from B&B themselves.

I like to idea that it could be a more rare-single run chair or even a demo or prototype, so I kept it out of lots of other chairs.

Hey something needs to valuable in the future.

Thanks for the scans!!

There you go, apologies for the delay. See the cover and buy the book (£2.34 second hand- a bargain!) at the weblink below.
