Would anyone happen to know if these chairs have an official name? They're similar to the steel frame series, but are a bit more formal looking. I haven't been able to come up with much information on them other than that they have been attributed to George Nelson & Associates in the past and have no association with Herman Miller.
I've got an opportunity to purchase a pristine pair in original black leather, but I don't have any point of reference on a fair price - the asking is $750 for both. Any thoughts?

In the vitra design Nelson book
The chair is just listed as "metal frame arm chair" model N 5772, designed in 1957. It's also listed as being manufactured by Herman Miller.

Appreciate the info! Word around the local street was that Herman Miller wasn't involved in this one, but there we go. I'm hoping it'll make a nice pairing with a Nelson AO1 rolltop desk.
