Help identifying Eames chair
Hi guys, been trolling your forum for a while now and just picked up my first Eames (I hope!) arm chair. I've been doing a bit research and I think its a second or third generation Zenith chair with a X Base. The guy I purchased it from claimed it had been bought by his parents in the late 50's, was from a group of 4, and had been in his family ever since. It doesn't have any labels or embossed logo which makes me a bit nervous which is why I wanted to check with the experts here. Also does not have a rope edge. I've included some pics which I hope will help.

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

aren't the transitional shells supposed to

I am no expert by any means.
But looks post 53' Zenith. Nice shell. I don't know for how long they did the x base.

I appreciate the comments...
I'm glad that so far people seem to think its a real Eames chair. I'm new to this game and I was super happy when I found this chair for what I thought a pretty reasonable price considering its age and location. The chair not having a label or an embossed logo started getting my a bit scared.
