Anyone have an old Saarinen cushion they would sell? old/cracked/broken is fine...
I'm wanting to make some new cushions for my Saarinen arm-less tulip chairs. Originals are a tad expensive for me and the remakes don't look as good as I'd like. The original chair/table set that I bought didn't come with any cushions at all, so while I'd like to re-make some myself as close to originals as possible, It would be great to have an original one to base them off/compare shape etc too.

If anyone has one lying around that they don't need please let me know and we can work something out.

Anyone? I will pay! Surely someone has replaced theirs at some point and has an old original one around?

Sorry
Threw mine out... Disintegrating latex foam is a mess.

Ditto,
mine went in the trash. Do you want measurements? I can give you those.

Scratch that,
I just noticed that you requested no arms. My chairs have arms and I think they are a bit bigger, no?

As far as I know they are...
As far as I know they are bigger/different.

Thanks for the measurement offer, I was really after an old one so I could match the exact curves/shape/indents etc as well. Thanks heaps though!

If the foam in an old one
is all dried out, which is usually why people are ditching them, it will have shrunk up and will not have the original dimensions.

I can tell you that the one I measured was 3.5" thick in the middle, but I get to take it home and use it for a template myself so I didn't bother measuring the rest of it. Just needed the thickness in order to order latex foam for it.

They are available from...
They are available from Knoll but slightly pricey for me at this stage.

I just have nothing to base making one off, even if someone has an old fabric cushion covering without the latex/foam that would be great!
I just don't trust the genuine-ness of the shape of most of the remakes I've seen, most look slightly thicker...
