Eames aluminum group chair
Can someone tell me the quickest way to determine if I have an authentic Herman miller-made Eames Aluminum group chair?
I recently bought one that looks to be at least 15 years old with blue vinyl upholstery (..or really cheap leather).
I found no label. It has a five point base.

but blue vinyl upholstery? I've never seen it on an aluminium group chair...

I have seen originals in...
I have seen originals in blue vinyl upholstery.

In fact I saw 5 or 6 in a 24 hour photo place in Chicago a few years back. I think vinyl was available in many colors.

They were done in high quality vinyl frequently, this chair was used in contract furnishing for the most part, they are expensive...

I.D'ing a genuine chair is...
I.D'ing a genuine chair is easy, post them on here I am sure you will get the (right) answer within minutes.

Herman Miller, Vitra and ICF are all easy to tell apart from the knock offs around once you know what you are looking at.
