Anyone recognize this Lamp?
i picked this up today. no maker's marks that i have found so far, only the underwriter's laboratories sticker on the bottom.

very heavy base - black metal with the chrome-colored ball. black metal shade.

any help would be much appreciated!

It's a nice lamp....
it could be Sonneman or possibily an Italian design. I think I've seen the lamp on eBay or in some book.
