made in italy chair find -
Hi! I am new here. Found this chair today at the goodwill for $14 and thought it was worth the risk. It looked like it had a lot of potential. The only thing I could find on it was a stamp that said made in italy. Any ideas? Thanks

how's the state of the wood, varnish?
i would choose a lighter, pale color for
the cushions (maybe with a tubetrim around?)

but for how much, that's the real question.
i think a seat like this sells better in pairs,
a bit like chandeleers, you want two above the
fireplace, not just the one.
this isn't an iconic piece, wich draws attention to it.
i think (personnally) that the enjoyment (after a small renovation, cushions alone) you get from it yourself will be much larger and lasting than the amount of money you'll probably receive when sold.
i'll leave the real valuation to the pros.
