Vintage Eames DCM's Good deal or no?
I'm looking to fill out a set of DCM's for my dining table, I have one vintage walnut chair in good shape and want 2-3 more. I got the one I have for free and the table was only $50 so I am trying to justify spending $225 per chair on a couple vintage DCM's I found locally. Is this reasonable? Or should I be patient and find a better deal...I know new they are $400 each...plus I prefer vintage. $450 for two chairs still sounds like alot though! Anyhow, gimme some opinions for the hell of it if you want.

$225 for a vintage DCM in...
$225 for a vintage DCM in good shape is a good deal in my book! Free is insane though! See if you can buy the lot for 200 each?

Condition condition condition
If they are in nice condition, it is not a bad price.

Thanks
Yup, got my original DCM from my old job, the back had fallen off the mounts and they had a bunch of junk piled on it. So I said mind if I fix that and take it home? They said go ahead and I did.

So I gave the guy a $50 deposit to hold them until I can pick them up this weekend. I am a horrible haggler, I always end up giving them the asking price! Who's got some good Jedi mind tricks to get the seller to take less $$? I am driving 4 hrs to get them (but it's on the way to a race I'm going to anyway)...I suppose I could use the gas money line eh?
