The couch is by Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien. The example that started this thread isn't a great one. I think it needs to be bigger with a different color scheme.
Totally reminds me of Japanese bubble gum pop in a Takashi Murakami meets Alexander Girard kind of way.
Not my cup of tea either,
but the thing I probably like the least about it is the blocky, eye-catching leg supports. I like the look better without them.

I actually prefer the look of the smaller size (though the colorway that I posted is not my favorite), but here is a larger size example.
I'm not a fan of having a middle set of legs on sofas.
I especially like all the various pillow options on this design. I think it's fun. But obviously not worth the $$$.
