Recall seeing this lamp in a reference book, but don't recall the book title. Believe it's origin is California, base is intended as water form. Who's in the know?

Maybe Magnus...or perhaps the white Aalto vase influenced you? It's forged iron, stamped GFC - 625 on the underside. Uses a Levitron socket, which supports the US origin. It broadly works with Scandinavian designs.

I've backtracked every possible resource I could have found this in. I really want to get the appropriate shade made for this since I previously resigned myself to selling it.

It's funny because I recall sarcastically saying to myself, "Right, like I'll find one someday." Selective memory bites!
