$127 for three teak candlesticks?
Are those bidders nuts? That kind of set usually sells for $40-60 on Ebay, I think. And theirs aren't even necessarily Danish.

I have four matching ones that I got for 2 bucks at an estate auction. Heh.

This move by DWR is so bizarr...
This move by DWR is so bizarre-what's it all about? An attempt to increase web presence? A poorly crafted holiday marketing gimmick? An attempt to gauge the internet auction market?

If those candlesticks are any indication, DWR should be able to sell polished turds for a good amount- at least until the public catches on to the fact that the whole thing is basically a gimmick.

I came across those candlesticks yesterday and wondered if the people bidding knew something that I didn't. I didn't realize DWR was the seller which explains the inflated price.

I thought it was weird too, but I checked and Vitra doesn't make any of those chairs as miniatures.

Earlier this morning and it was also not available. If really sold out, does anyone know how many were offered and at what price?

It was $425 and we've posted...
It was $425 and we've posted them on Etsy now. DWR only bought 6 of them. I don't think they realized how good they would sell. It was sold out by the time I got up this morning @8:30 CST. Anyway, we put them on Etsy, but theres a 6-8 week leadtime.
