I bought this last year in our early collecting phase and will soon be phasing it out of our house pending something really special "design wise." It was listed as Danish yet it looks very American. The owner removed it from their grandparents home and stated that it was from the early 50's.
The wood is oak and the grain is lovely in person. It took me several weeks to refinish it and it is novice work, yet, I have heard positive comments in the end result. I do not know if I will attempt to refinish pieces on this scale. It was such busy work.
The only id is this stamp which is on the back of every piece. Any ideas?
