Tom Tru Corporation info?
I just purchased a very large canvas print painting from a vintage dealer and on the back is stamped Tom Tru corp. Does anyone know anything about this company?
Sounds familiar
I seem to remember seeing that name before. That image is pretty well known Josef Albers painting (Homage to the Square: "Departing in Yellow"). Yours may have been a licensed reproduction or (more likely) a copy sold for corporate interiors. It would be easy to change a piece (scale, color) enough to avoid copywright infringement. Can you tell if it was hand painted or screen-printed?
Raymor acted as distributor...
Raymor acted as distributor for Tom Tru. They were located in Lambertville, NJ. Many of their"original" wall hangings are by Robert Bushong - often signed "R. Bushong"
I know it's Albers-like but...
I know it's Albers-like but it's hard to definitely say it's a repro of the yellow piece because every photo I've ever seen of the yellow homage piece appears differently due to colour shift variations. It's brighter than what I recall having seen at the Tate. The piece is not signed on the front in any way. More details to follow after I can examine it more. Thanks everyone.

what is the cost of this canvas
I have a canvas the same as this one that's stamped Tom Tru
on back with copyright on it. There's also a red lable with Tom Tru printed on it.
Does anyone know the value of this canvas.
Thanks
