LCM vs LCW back
I found an old black LCM in the garbage a few months ago. It had the seat, but was missing the back. Been looking for a matching back on ebay and am wondering if the LCW back piece is easily interchangeable with the LCM. I don't want to mess with moving around shock mounts or making any other alterations. Basically, can the two be swapped?

Shock mount
Positions will be different between LCM and LCW.
The shape of the LCM/LCW back also change slightly over the years, so that may be another consideration for you when searching for a replacement.

Okay. I've asked for measurements to confirm. This is the one you are referring to, correct?

LCM.... or perhaps DCM? Exact dimensions would help.

indeedy
the dcm backs are quite a bit smaller.
smart to get the dimensions of the shock-mounts as some earlier chairs have slightly different space between them which makes for a tight (or no )fit .
this s new as well so the finish is a lot different than the earlier chairs...

Not an absolute "rule" by any means. For instance, are you aware that the from/to/than choice is different in the USA than in the UK?
For extra credit, gracefully rewrite the preceding sentence using "from".

wtf?
really?
i suggest you find a more fulfilling hobby sdr.
those that correct others on the internet are , in my opinion, much more annoying than those who make simple mistakes.

Grammar aside, I have been...
Grammar aside, I have been informed that the screw holes measure 6" apart.
It is clearly either an LCM or DCM back, as the seller informed me it did not fit his LCW. I'll be measuring my chair for comparison this weekend.
Can anyone tell me the difference in length and height for the LCM and DCM backs.
Thanks in advance.....or should I say Thank you....;-)
