question about stamped LCM label.. real?
hey so i'm new to the forums, but would appreciate some help trying to get some more info on a chair i just bought.
it's a black LCM, but there is no sticker label on the bottom. instead, it is a simple "LCM" stamped into the wood. did herman miller do this? time period?
there is a DCW on ebay right now with the same marking (obvously, "DCW" though). the auction is titled, "ICONIC MODERN EAMES DCW CHAIR", if you want to check out that picture.
any info would be greatly appreciated! thanks

They did
Herman Miller did indeed stamp their chairs. Unfortunately I have no idea the timeframe when they did it.

My DCMs from '52...
Have, yep, you guessed it, D-C-M, stamped in the bottom if that helps date yours.
