I did, contact them. Curious...
I did, contact them. Curious if they can give an answer. Went to the designmuseum in Ghent yesterday. There was several pieces by VDBP, I'm always impressed by their use of veneers and wood in general..
Is the book interesting?

Seen the cover, haven't had the chance to look into it yet.
Confirmation received by vandenberghe pauvers, it isn't a logo of vdbp.

Erik, do you know by any...
Erik, do you know by any chance what the abreviation O.M.F stands for?
I've seen this brand alot on furniture from the late fifties and early sixties. I suspect they're belgian although the style is very scandinavian.
I bought a sideboard just last week, but am in the process of doing it up entirely.

I think the last two letters...
I think the last two letters stand for 'meubel fabriek' (furniture factory), the first would be the place or family-name.
this is my sideboard:

same sideboard from 1952
I have this sideboard too! The person i bought it from told me he found it in Belgium in 1952. the sideboard's marked on the back: dr keulen. I posted a thread before about this tag. So, thanks! But I didn't find omf on it, the paper was scratched off. but it's on my secretary. I found something that could be linked to omf. Omer meubel fabriek? google it.

The full name of this...
The full name of this company is Omer Lefevre, I don't think they would have used the christian name of the owner back in the days.
This factory is actually not far away from me.
Are you located in Belgium?
