The Boscaro Project's main aim is to save forms of the highest tradition of craftsmanship with a history of hundreds of years that are rapidly disappearing in Italy and in all those countries of the world that have an ancient lineage of art and culture.
The reason is because they are convinced of the importance of manual creativity for forming their young people into complete human beings, culturally and spiritually, and because it is their desire that art, the greatest and finest of art, should not disappear from the face of the earth, but continue to illuminate man’s life with its profound light of truth, harmony and beauty.
Because of the cultural and social significance of its mission, and for the profound conviction behind its motives, the Boscaro Project received the Patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Italian Government in 1998, and of UNESCO in 1999.
