Loewy is one of the pioneers of industrial design. In 1930, he founded his own agency in New York. His redesign of the 'Coldspot' refrigerator in 1934 was his first huge success, followed by many others that will built his reputation (Coca Cola bottle, Shell, Lucky Strike).
