This chair, originally called 'Small Chair' was designed at Junzo Sakakura's architect and interior planning office, where Daisaku Choh was the head of chair design. The idea was to create a wooden chair that resembles Jean Prouvé's Standard Chair. In 2006, Daisaku Choh redesigned the chair for Metrocs.
