1945
Hiroko Takeda studied design until 1967 at the Academy of Tokyo. From 1968 till 1972, she collaborated with different Japanese industries in the field of furniture and interior design. Since 1972, she lives and works in Italy and collaborates with Andries Van Onck. She participated in many international design exhibitions. Some of her works are in the permanent collections of museums in Chicago, London, Paris and Amsterdam. H. takeda teaches since 1998 industrial design at the Milan Politecnico University.
H. Takeda has designed for Amplyvox intercom, Ave electric switches, Bertazzoni cooking ranges, Carlo Gavazzi electronic equipment, Kartell casual furniture, Magis casual furniture, Microtecnica precision tooling machines, Plus office furniture, Serafino Zani stainless steel cutlery, Status lamps, Zanussi household equipment and others.
