She studied architecture at the Milan Politecnico in 1951 and worked as an interior designer in the studio of Marco Zanuso until 1963. In 1979, she had her own design firm in Milan. Boeri worked on the standardization of elements in order to make furniture less expensive. She collaborated among others with Knoll, Artflex, Arteluce and Stilnovo. She received Compasso d'oro awards in 1970 and 1979.
