Oliver Hemming has been designing and making since he left Art School in Leicester (United Kingdom) where he studied 3D design with a specialisation in silversmithing. He won several design competitions including the Johnson Matthey Silver Award in 1982. From 1985 to 1997, he built and developed the notable contemporary watch and clock company & brand 'Ziro'. Now eager to combine his current knowledge and skills with an earlier vision, he continues to bring accessible innovative design to the market with his new line called 'Nio'.
