Wood: Iuglans Regia (Italian walnut) from the Prealps. Cut down in January 1994, trunk dried for 6 months and then stripped; for 9 years in a covered but ventilated place.

Composite structure with two openings. Finished by hand using a wide planer.

Walnut from the Piedmontese Prealps. Cut down in february 1999, trunk dried for 6 months and then stripped; 4 years in a covered but ventilated place. It then ges a one-week final vacuum treatment in an autoclave.

Blocks assembled with vertical fibre. Cross-cut hand chiselled and sand papered finish.
