Claudio Cabaça was born in Setubal, Portugal in 1977. He moved to Toronto, Canada at a very young age with his parents. He lived must of his childhood in Toronto where he studied mechanical engineering and design.
In 1994 he moved back to Portugal and worked in the Oil & Gas sector for companies like Shell, Total Oil and Fina around Europe. In 1999 he moved to Antwerp, Belgium where he kept studying design and working in the Gas & Oil sector. In 2003 he moved to Vlaardingen, Holland and started the design studio Lunar Labs.
