Michele De Lucchi studied in Padua and later at the University of Florence, graduating in 1975. He designed furniture for Studio Alchimia and in the 80's for Memphis. He introduced geometric motifs on the plastic laminates used by Memphis. At the end of Memphis, he launched his own production 'Produzione Privata', free from all industrial constraint. De Lucchi gives a priority to the human aspects of creation and value to craftmanship's work.

Painted metal structure, blown glass opal diffuser.

This originated from the idea of organising a system starting with the techniques of light diffusion. The sophisticated blown glass diffuser is used in different versions and its organic and sinuous form lends itself to the creation of numerous compositions of lights and forms. A system that is capable of expressing emotion, available in table, floor, ceiling and suspension version.
