Dreyfuss is one of the pioneers of industrial design. In 1929, he founded his own agency and designed everything from airplanes to telephones and coffee cups. Many of the products he designed in the thirties became international classics. He was an experimenter in ergonomics. He wanted to give a priority to the human aspects of creation and give value to craftmanship’s work. Dreyfuss is the author of a popular account on the subject ‘Designing for people’.
