This project is a result of an exploration and abstraction of upholstered furniture. StopIt's minimal stainless steel frame and rectangular wood 'cushion' iconographically expresses traditional forms of upholstered furniture. The repetition of rubber stoppers on the cushion replaces the decorative function of fabrics. Different colors and patterns can be used to customize the cushions.
