o4i was founded in 2005 and is managed and supervised by design partners Henrik Kjellberg and Jon Lindström. The studio has a multidisciplinary approach to product design based on modern industrial parameters, driven by a curiosity for materials and processes. Being based in Stockholm, Sweden, the studio focuses on contemporary public and domestic furniture- and consumer products and develops unique concepts for various international clients such as Chair Baltic, David Design, Dune NY, EQ3/Palliser, Fritz Hansen, IKEA, Martela, Palliser, Peter Pepper Products. Their work has received several international awards: Red Dot Award 2005 (Germany), a double ADEX Platinum Award 2007 (USA), Good Design Award 2005 (USA), ID Magazine Destinction Award 2005 (USA), German Design Prize Nominee 2006 (Germany).

Diagonal is an innovative combination of sofa and space divider for public indoor spaces. It was designed to meet the needs of modern working environments and waiting areas which demand flexibility and privacy.
Diagonal consists of two basic elements: a padded seat and a screen that can be placed as desired in the diagonal grooves in the padded seat. Although there are only two elements, they can be combined in almost endless ways.
By using as a single module or combining several of the elements, Diagonal becomes a relaxed setting for small meetings, a private corner for important phone calls or a stylish lobby landscape.

The starting point of the Diagonal design was our changing work environment with a greater need for flexibility. Notebook computers, wireless networks and mobile phones has meant that we are no longer tied to a desk and our day often consists of small, informal meetings. Diagonal offers a pleasant and informal environment for such meetings, and create at the same time visual and acoustic privacy.

'Magnifik' is an innovative and magic pot-stand.
As the market for energy saving Induction heated stove tops are increasing in the world, the tools for cooking are also in for a change. One dramatically new change with induction heat is that all pots and pans need to be made with a magnetic metal bottom in order to work and produce heat. As a result most manufacturers of pots and pans are today making their products with magnetic properties.
Magnifik take advantage of this and through its embedded magnets it will stick to the bottom of any induction prepared pot or pan making it easy to move around and at the same time protect any tabletop from burn marks.
When not in use, it can be vertically stored on any metal surface (magnetic) for instance your stove-front or your fridge-door.
Magnifik is made of heat-resistant silicone which is stain-proof, easy to clean, dish-washer proof, extremely durable, hygienic and safe with food.
Magnifik received the Red Dot Award, Good Design Award and ID Magazine Distinction Award 2005.

'Oasis' bench provides a natural setting for interaction, collaboration or contemplation in various public spaces. Seating up to 8-10 people, its organic shape offers privacy as well as collaborative areas for groups. It is as much an inspiring sculpture as an inviting functional multi-sided seat and adds a playful touch to any environment through its organic and inviting shape. Oasis can be used indoor and outdoor, offered in numerous of colours and surfaces and can be safely mounted to the ground if required.
Oasis received the ADEX Platinum Award and the International Design Award 2007.

'Zesty' is an all-plywood, multi-purpose stacking chair designed with the intention to challenge and fully utilize Chair Baltic's great skills in moulded plywood production. The result is a 'spicy', super light and well balanced chair that brings the best out of molded plywood - with a minimum of material and a maximum of strength, comfort and style.
'Zesty' weighs only 2,9 kg and has passed the standardized EN1728 and ANSI/BIFMA strenght and durability tests required for public furniture.
