Giulio Iacchetti attended the Architecture Course in Milan's Polytechnic, institution where he is now working as a lecturer for the Industrial Design department, whilst teaching in the European Design Institute. His interest for industrial design began in 1992, since then he took part to various exhibitions and international competitions, he won the 'Missing Things' competition organised in 1996 by the Hannover Public Transport Company in Hannover and the 'Bourse Européenne de la creation coutelier' in Thiers, France in 1997. He founded the Studio Aroundesign with Matteo Ragni in 1998, working for Mandarina Duck, Breil, Guzzini, Samsung, JVC and many other international companies. Notcom was born as a collaboration of the two designers with Leftloft and presented his first line of urban accessories in 1995. One of his most recent creation is the 2006 Donington Motor GP cup.
