Ingeborg van Uden is a graphic designer by training. In 2005 after several years of professional design experience Ingeborg started her independent activities creating her own practice for aesthetic trend consultancy. Optimism, travel, curiosity and a profund interest in people and their relationships with objects and spaces are among some main driving forces and inspiration in her work. In addition she collaborates with designers inspiring and working together with them on various projects. Amongst others her clients include Philips Design, Teague, Sigma coatings, United Nations EEC and Design Academy Eindhoven.

'Angolo' is a block furnishing offering people a pleasant break by using and enhancing the textural and aesthetic qualities of Alcantara®. Both for domestic and public use, it presents an irregular composition of facetted surfaces offering sensorial as well as massage qualities for the body. An ironically jagged and facetted surface of memory foam is upholstered with ultra sonically welded Alcantara®. The design breaks the 2D properties of Alcantara® as a fabric by creating surprising upholstered three dimensional surfaces, inviting to use, touch and feel. It presents Alcantara® in an impressive three dimensional manner.
